Michael first coined the name, " Michael's DeskTop" in 1994 for his desktop publishing company.  The Worldwide Web was still in its infancy. He had been freelancing professionally for about ten years. The name made a lot of sense back then. It makes a lot more sense today.

Since that time, Michael has worn many "hats":

DESKTOP PUBLISHING

He has published newspaper tabloids, community newsletters, flyers, brochures, business stationery, business cards, mailers, magazine advertising, among other things.

GRAPHIC DESIGN

Michael has designed  logos, signage, POS displays, promotional graphics for sportswear (shirts, hats, etc.), store windows and interior store display, and corporate identity programs and product branding projects.

MARKETING DEVELOPMENT

Michael works closely, as creaive consultant, with small business management  in planning, and then execution of marketing strategies, utilizing in-house and outsourced talent and resources.

DIRECT MAIL MARKETING, utilizing direct-mail, coop mail and cooperative residential delivery through private neighborhood delivery services.

LOCAL AREA PUBLICATIONS, both magazines and independent, weekly newspapers, telephone directories, utilizing both display advertising, classifieds and free-standing inserts.

LOCAL CABLE-TV ADS, developing and production of ads and participating with the purchase and planning of broadcast scheduling

RADIO PRODUCTION

Michael also produced a live, news-centered, listener call-in, talk show on a local radio station for two years.
